Job summary

tribalone is seeking a Construction Superintendent to manage on-site construction quality, safety and schedule adherence on federal projects in Colorado. You will supervise contractors, perform inspections, and collaborate with engineers and managers to resolve issues while maintaining program compliance.

The role requires 50–75% site travel across Colorado, a strong background in QA/QC plans, and experience reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• US citizen or permanent resident status evidenced by a Permanent Resident Card (USCIS I-551).
• OSHA 30, EM 385-1-1(preferred), USACE CQM(preferred) certification and CPR/1st Aid certification.
• Ability to pass background checks from Tribal 1 and any required federal government checks.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% to Colorado construction sites.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on varied construction areas.
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on Federal government projects.
• Experience writing or implementing Quality Control Plans aligned with QA/QC surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor contractor work to ensure plans, specs and quality standards.
• Conduct on-site inspections to verify contract requirements and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve quality or safety issues.
• Lead and document safety inspections and ensure PPE usage.
• Maintain daily activity logs, inspection records, and quality control documentation.
• Prepare progress and quality/safety reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure permits and inspections are properly obtained and kept up to date.
• Schedule and lead meetings with subcontractors and clients for project phases.
