Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large multi-phase projects with field inspectors and technicians reporting to you. You will write the project QC plan, lead QA/QC meetings, and answer for every test result and nonconformance the project produces on active sites.

You will coordinate testing, reviews, and certifications across subcontractors while maintaining a rigorous three-phase control process per owner

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
