Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a highly experienced Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large and multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements. You will write the project QC plan, run three-phase meetings, and own all test results and nonconformances.

Your role includes supervising QC inspectors, coordinating lab testing, and ensuring compliance with owner and agency requirements,

Qualifications

6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection, including 2+ years supervising inspectors.
Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
Writes clearly and holds the line in a room of superintendents and owner representatives.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
assign daily coverage and review their reports.
Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
