Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Project Manager for construction in New York, NY to oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control from design through completion. You will lead project teams, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on-site.

Reporting to the Project Executive, the PM coordinates with architects, engineers, contractors, and property leaders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or technical training with 5–10 years PM field experience.
• Experience in commercial or multi-family residential construction; estimating experience.
• Ability to read plans/specs and generate scope from them; critique submittals.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements and ability to coordinate with legal/insurance managers.
• Strong leadership and communication; able to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiar with Procore/Bluebeam; proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Chart out project objectives and plans while setting performance requirements and selecting project participants.
• Oversee construction project from conceptual design through completion.
• Assist with preconstruction tasks including reading plans, developing scope sheets, and interviewing/contractor qualifications.
• Develop early budgets and schedules; manage budgets and expenses; minimize risk on the project.
• Process contracts, change orders, and assist in negotiating contracts; deliver financial reporting as scheduled.
• Ensure Insurance compliance and coordinate with insurance managers; track permits and site safety plans.
• Coordinate stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams; maintain client liaison.
• Monitor progress, hold status meetings, ensure documentation accuracy, and review deliverables.
