Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is sourcing a Project Manager for a leading New York construction division. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring quality while coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal teams.

The PM will manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, and safety/compliance, reporting to the Project Executive and Senior PM. On-site responsibilities include oversight across all phases and ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or technical training.
• 5–10 years field experience as a Project Manager with an established construction firm.
• Ability to read plans and specs; derive scope and critique shop drawings/submittals.
• Experience with project insurance requirements and contract processes.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specs, design basis, and constructability.

Responsibilities

• Chart objectives and plans; set performance requirements and participant roles.
• Oversee construction from conceptual design through completion.
• Assist with preconstruction tasks; develop scope and contractor qualifications.
• Assist in budgeting, schedules; manage expenses and reporting.
• Process contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and payment requisitions.
