Job summary

Our client, a leading real estate owner/developer in New York City, seeks a Project Manager for their construction division. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance, reporting to the Project Executive/Senior PM.

Responsibilities span from preconstruction tasks to site execution, with a focus on safety, permits, and coordination among architects, contractors, and management teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or technical training with 5–10 years in construction PM.
• Ability to read plans and specs, develop scope, and review shop drawings and submittals.
• Knowledge of project insurance requirements and ability to coordinate with insurance managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting.
• Oversee construction from design through completion; manage budgets and change orders.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders; prepare safety plans.
• Monitor progress, run status meetings, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
