Job summary

JE Dunn in Charlotte, NC seeks a Superintendent to plan, manage and execute project aspects, including safety, schedule, quality and documentation. Leads field teams, coordinates subcontractors and resources, and drives on-time, on-budget project completion.

3+ years construction experience and 1+ year field supervision required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Role involves heavy coordination, meetings, and collaboration with owners and design teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to conduct effective presentations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of safety culture on the project and mentor others.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and program areas (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans and coordinate site care and control.
