Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute on complex projects, ensuring material and equipment readiness, people management, and complete documentation to meet goals. You will lead safety culture, coordinate with subcontractors and owners, review progress, manage budgets and schedules, and support project closeouts with the project team.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s degree preferred, 5+ years of construction

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff.
• Manages subcontractors, staff, suppliers and programs.
• Develops work plans and coordinates project site care.
• Creates and manages project schedule with Project Manager.
• Tracks budgets and costs using cost reports and PM data.
• Ensures quality through specifications and QA/QC.
