Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer to be based in Utah, working on-site with the Project Manager to support planning, coordination of subcontractors, safety compliance, and documentation. The role requires strong organization and the ability to monitor progress and quality on complex construction activities.

Preferred candidates hold a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent; EIT/PE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives direction from the Project Manager and supports planning.
• Coordinates with sub-contractors and ensures adherence to project plans.
• Monitors safety program compliance and OSHA requirements.
• Reviews manpower, materials, and equipment needs.
• Maintains project logs, RFIs, submittal logs, and approvals.
