Job summary

AECOM Hunt seeks a Construction Project Engineer to be based in Dallas, TX. The role begins in May 2027 and expects involvement in overseeing crafts and coordinating subcontractors, with supervision from a Superintendent or PM. You will influence project delivery through accurate documentation and site safety enforcement.

Candidate will contribute to project controls, interface with design professionals, and help maintain quality and schedule adherence on a complex construction program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Experience supporting large complex projects preferred.
• OSHA certification(s) and construction software proficiency are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an area of responsibility.
• Receive supervision and direction in performing assigned tasks.
• Work with Superintendent or Project Manager for technical and operational guidance.
• Assist with planning and coordinating sub-contractor activities.
• Monitor subcontractor personnel for adherence to plans and quality control.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures on site.
• Support document control and project management systems to keep information up-to-date.
• Interface with client, architect, and design professionals to ensure design intent compliance.
• Foster clear communications among field management, project management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Continually update professional knowledge and training to boost team productivity.
