Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be based in Dallas, TX. This on-site role supports sub-contractor coordination, safety, and document control to ensure project adherence to plans and quality standards.

The position begins in May 2027. You will work with field management, subcontractors, and design professionals to uphold design intent and client satisfaction while expanding your professional knowledge through ongoing training and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or demonstrated equivalency.
• Preferred OSHA certification(s).
• Able to follow directions and interact with all levels of management on a working construction project.
• Prior internship experience within the construction industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Bluebeam, AutoCAD/Revit, Construction Management Software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts within an assigned area of responsibility.
• Receives continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility.
• Receives technical and operational direction from the assigned Superintendent or Project Manager.
• Assists with the planning and coordination of sub-contractor activities within the area of responsibility.
• Monitors subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promotes quality control of all installations.
• Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management.
