Job summary

APSI Construction Management, Inc. seeks a Construction Manager/Administrator to be on-site at the VA Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System for the Electronic Health Record Modernization project in Tuskegee, AL.

The role covers operations, scheduling, QA, and contract oversight through construction completion over a 3-year span. The CM-CA will support the CO and COR, manage documentation and change orders, and ensure quality and safety across design reviews, testing, and field

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of construction field experience performing CM tasks.
OSHA 30-hour Safety Training within 60 days of NTP.
Working knowledge of construction practices and QA.
Ability to monitor schedule, cost, and change orders; maintain records.
Ability to prepare, analyze, and identify deficiencies in work and relate to construction docs.
Must present three projects of similar scale.
Strong communication and software skills.

Responsibilities

Be on-site for the duration of the EHRM construction project and provide professional support.
Assist the Contracting Officer and COR in project management, scheduling, and design reviews.
Monitor quality assurance, code compliance, testing, and records management.
Conduct and document progress meetings; review contractor payments and change orders.
Maintain thorough site records, deficiency lists, and coordination with VA.
Oversee sub-contractor operations, QA testing, and closeout submittals.
