Job summary

APSI Construction Management, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager/Administrator to support the Electronic Health Record Modernization program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, West Haven, CT. The role is on-site for the 3-year project duration, with an anticipated start date in November/December 2026.

Salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually. The CM-CA will assist the Contracting Officer and COR in project management, planning, scheduling, design reviews, and QA/QC, ensuring

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of construction field experience.
• Completion of 30-hour OSHA Safety Training (within 60 days of NTP).
• Experience monitoring quality assurance on construction projects.
• Ability to analyze incongruities and deficiencies in contractor work.
• Familiarity with baseline schedules and value of work in place.
• Ability to conduct progress meetings and document outcomes.

Responsibilities

• On-site Construction Manager/Administrator to support EHRM construction project.
• Assist the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative in PM, planning, scheduling, design reviews, and cost control.
• Conduct regular progress meetings to review project status and contractor payments.
• Monitor Quality Assurance through testing and inspection services as required.
• Maintain comprehensive project records, submittals, RFI responses, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with General and Sub-contractors, vendors, and Owner-supplied equipment.
