Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst for Columbus project financial oversight. You will prepare analyses, forecast costs, and ensure budget integrity across multiple reports and ledgers.

Responsibilities include audits, re-forecasts, and collaboration with project management. You will train staff, review contracts, and support payment applications while maintaining close alignment with project finances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or related field, and 3 years of related experience.
• High degree of organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Financial system applications proficiency and advanced MS Excel.
• Self-starter, adaptable, and flexible to operate with minimal direction and/or supervision working in complex and changing environment
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion, ability to identify problems and make recommendations for resolution
• Demonstrate leadership, strong dedication to teamwork and integrity
• Professional written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and audit forecasts to confirm costs and forecast outcomes.
• Audit budget reports for accuracy and ensure alignment with ledger postings.
• Analyze project budgets, forecasts, and cash positions across the job lifecycle.
• Train and develop Costs Analysts and project staff.
• Visit jobsites to evaluate progress and discuss findings with project management.
• Act as bridge between Accounting and field staff and support contract reviews.
• Participate in Operations Review Meetings and understand contract documents.
