Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 3 years of related experience.
• High degree of organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Financial system applications proficiency and advanced MS Excel.
• Self-starter, adaptable, and able to operate with minimal supervision in a changing environment.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Demonstrate leadership, teamwork and integrity, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and audit forecasts to validate forecasted costs.
• Assess project financial risks and report plans to mitigate them.
• Accumulate, audit, and correlate information to produce BARs, CABs and related cost reports.
• Audit budgets, ensure costs are posted to ledger, and communicate findings.
• Analyze budget reports, forecasts, and field conditions to project costs accurately.
• Participate in ORM meetings with senior management and maintain contract document knowledge.
• Train and develop junior costs analysts and project staff.
• Review field conditions, SISs, exposures, claims and recoveries for cost impact.
• Monitor project cash position and assist with payment applications and budgeting.
• Ensure proper contract reviews and risk assessment with standard checklists.
