Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, quality control, and safety oversight on client projects.

This 100% field role will travel across the United States, supervising subcontractors, producing daily and quality control reports, and ensuring drawings and schedules are followed under general supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in construction management or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in construction management or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the field construction lead on overall field operations, including scheduling, daily/quality reports, conformances to drawings and specs, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and intent of project.
• Ensure adherence to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership and for record-keeping.
• Capture progress photographs and label them for records.
• Support Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used by contractors.
• Assist with coordination of contract extras and progress payments in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Maintain project management communications and ensure issues are handled clearly and professionally.
