Job summary

Superior, Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects on-site. You will assist with contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding and contract administration to keep operations efficient.

Requirements include at least 1 year of field/project experience on a commercial site or a related degree/certificate; OSHA 10/30 is a bonus. Full-time on-site role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site.
Degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field, or a Construction Management certificate.
OSHA certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Manage RFIs and ensure integration into project documentation.
Coordinate with vendors on the submittal process lifecycle.
Support change order creation, submission, and management.
Capture progress by updating contract docs and photographing site.
Monitor schedule and report to leadership.
Assist Foreman with materials delivery.
Lead project close-out, including warranties and as-builts.
