Job summary

Superior is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a jobsite in South Bend, Indiana. This role supports contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration to drive electrical construction projects forward.

Responsibilities include managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documenting progress on site. A background in construction systems management or related field is preferred, with OSHA 10/30 as a bonus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site (including internship) or a Construction Systems Management/Engineering related degree or certificate.
• Bonus: prior experience supporting commercial construction projects in a Project Operations role
• Bonus: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation and submission of RFI’s and ensure all RFI’s are integrated into project documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the lifecycle of the project submittal process
• Support with the creation, submission, and management of change orders
• Capture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite
• Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Work closely with the Foreman on delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite
• Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stock
• Develop an understanding of project finance, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leadership
