Job summary

Superior is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects from Cedar Rapids, IA. This role reports to the Senior Project Manager and requires strong scheduling, budgeting, and cross‑functional leadership to ensure on‑time, on‑budget project delivery.

Based on a Cedar Rapids jobsite, it offers a competitive pay range and a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification preferred.
Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects ranging from $5M to $50M.
Experience with construction management software.
Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
Manage all project finance requirements including billings, project setup, cost control and change orders.
Mitigrate and manage project risk; report quickly to leadership with solutions.
Lead meetings with customers and coordinate across departments.
Ensure safety standards are followed on the jobsite.
Understand the project contract scope and negotiate changes as needed.
