Job summary

Sun Communities in Hudson, FL seeks a Community Manager to oversee operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction within the community. This role is the primary contact for residents, requires 24/7 on-call availability, and leads admin, marketing, leasing, and home sales.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in property management, supervisory experience, budgeting, compliance, and NetSuite knowledge. On-site housing is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business (Preferred)
• 2+ years property management experience, including supervisory experience (Required)
• 6 months in sales and leasing experience (Required)
• 6 months experience using NetSuite (Preferred)
• General knowledge of maintenance and basic accounting principles (Required)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills (Required)
• Ability to live on-site within the community (housing provided) (Required)

Responsibilities

• Markets homes for sale and coordinates listings.
• Manages rent collection, posting, and deposits.
• Handles delinquencies and eviction processes per policy.
• Monitors and approves operating and sales invoices.
• Resolves complaints and ensures timely responses.
• Oversees team selection, development and policy compliance.
• Manages leasing, repairs, refurbishments, and move-ins.
• Ensures compliance with fair housing laws and employment regulations.
