Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction at the Hudson, FL community. The role requires 24/7 on-call availability and acts as the primary contact for residents, coordinating marketing, leasing, and daily site management.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in property management, supervisory experience, and a Bachelor's in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business. On-site housing is provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in property management including supervisory responsibilities
• 6 months in sales and leasing experience
• General knowledge of maintenance
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Fair housing and employment law knowledge

Responsibilities

• Markets models, pre-owned & brokered homes for sale and prepares documents
• Manages rent collection including delinquent accounts
• Handles delinquencies and eviction proceedings per Sun policies
• Monitors and approves invoices for operating expenses and sales
• Resolves complaints and provides timely solutions
• Coordinates team selection and development
• Manages Sun Homes processes including repairs, leasing, sales and refurbishments
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local fair housing laws
• Reviews residency applications and approves/denies
• Initiates lease renewals and rent increases
• Inspects and advises on purchase/renovation of homes
• Prepares sites for model homes and coordinates with maintenance
• Handles onsite emergencies per procedures
• Ensures safety policy compliance and incident reporting
• Maintains community curb appeal and appearance
• Assists with budgeting and CapEx planning
• Reports deficiencies to impact operations
• Prepares property accounting reports for the Accounting team
• All other duties as assigned
