Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee operations and profitability of the community, serving as the day-to-day contact for residents. This role requires leadership of on-site teams, managing marketing, leasing, budgeting, and maintenance while ensuring compliance with fair housing laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business (Preferred).
• 4 years in property management experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience (Required).
• 6 months in prior sales and leasing experience (Required).
• General knowledge of maintenance and fair housing laws.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Markets models, pre-owned and brokered homes for sale in the community. Prepares documents to list and sell homes. (Essential)
• Resolves complaints and responds to issues in a timely manner. (Essential)
• Manages the rent collection process including collecting, posting and depositing income from leasing of rental sites and homes, as well as filing to collect on delinquent debts. (Essential)
• Handles delinquencies and approves eviction proceedings while adhering to Sun's policies. (Essential)
• Monitors, codes and approves invoices for operating expenses and sales related costs. (Essential)
• Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
