Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee a housing community on-site in California. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, and ensure financial and risk controls align with company policies.

The role emphasizes resident satisfaction, maintenance coordination, and adherence to Fair Housing laws and safety standards. A CAM/ARM and housing industry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years of housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site personnel and leasing operations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training when needed.
• Develop and implement annual marketing and leasing plans to drive occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing, safety policies, and company procedures.
• Manage financial activities including budgeting, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Plan and supervise maintenance and repairs to maintain property condition.
