Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee daily operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage staff, leasing, maintenance, finance, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, budgeting, marketing, and resident relations, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, scheduling, and customer service to maintain high occupancy and community standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years of housing industry experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills and on-site software proficiency.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site operations of a housing community under Regional Manager supervision.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administrative duties.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Implement resident retention programs and marketing plans to drive occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Coordinate emergency response and maintain property condition through regular inspections.
