Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee the on-site operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will lead all aspects of staff, leasing, maintenance, and administration to deliver excellent service.

You will manage budgets, ensure policy compliance, fair housing adherence, and safety, while driving resident satisfaction and retention across the property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of the housing community.
• Manage staff schedules, training, coaching and performance.
• Ensure leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks meet policy and timelines.
• Develop annual operating budgets and monitor financials.
• Lead resident relations and enforce fair housing guidelines.
• Maintain property appearance and coordinate vendor services.
• Respond to emergencies and lead on-site safety procedures.
