Job summary

Housing Development Corporation MidAtlantic is seeking a Full-Time Community Manager for Wyndhamere Apartments (York, PA) and New Freedom Apartments (New Freedom, PA). You will lead day-to-day operations, oversee leasing, compliance, and maintenance, and ensure resident-focused service across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes housing stability, strong communication, and collaboration with Resident Services. Prior property management experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license required.
• Background in customer service required; affordable housing experience a plus.
• One year of property management experience preferred, but training will be provided.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site on-site resident experience and community leadership.
• Engage with residents and respond promptly to concerns with a trauma-informed approach.
• Coordinate with Resident Services to support housing stability and resident well-being.
• Manage leasing processes, waitlists, program eligibility, and rent collection.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, RD, and 811 regulations; prepare for audits/inspections.
• Oversee maintenance, curb appeal, and vendor coordination; ensure timely work orders.
