Job summary

Asset Living in Lafayette, LA seeks an experienced Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community, including staff, leasing, maintenance, finance and risk management on-site.

As on-site leader you will supervise property staff, implement marketing plans, ensure compliance with fair housing and safety standards, and drive resident satisfaction through proactive service and retention programs. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel and on-site staff, ensuring staffing and training.
• Manage leasing activities, show units, and process leases.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reports, and rent collections.
• Ensure property compliance with safety, fair housing, and company policies.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and vendor relations.
