S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our 288 Lofts community in Midlothian, VA.

The role supports leasing, resident relations, and on-site supervision, with a focus on compliance with Fair Housing laws and effective community management. Responsibilities include showing units, processing applications, and coordinating with maintenance. A valid driver’s license and prior supervisory experience are preferred; tax credit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior supervisory experience in a customer service environment.
• Property Management experience preferred (2+ years).
• Valid driver’s license required if operating a vehicle.
• Advanced college courses in management, public relations, or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leasing the property to prospective residents and preparing lease packets.
• Run credit reports and inspect properties after move-outs and before move-ins.
• Assist in leasing and strive for quality residency.
• Handle deposits and rent payments and related accounting tasks.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with the Maintenance Supervisor and supervise on-site staff in Community Manager's absence.
