The Community Housing Manager leads day-to-day operations for a small portfolio of affordable housing properties, handling leasing, rent posting, inspections, resident communications, and coordination with maintenance and finance teams. This role also serves as the primary after-hours contact for resident emergencies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance and finance teams, ensuring compliance across multiple programs, and maintaining professional, client-focused resident

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management experience.
• Experience with affordable housing programs and compliance documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain professionalism.
• Physical ability to walk properties, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties, including leasing, rent posting, and inspections.
• Coordinate maintenance and finance teams; ensure timely repairs and preventative upkeep.
• Manage resident communications and provide after-hours emergency contact support.
• Monitor budgets, invoices, and monthly performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance across multiple housing programs with a third-party firm.
