Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Arizona to support the Community Manager by handling accounting, rent collection, and financial reporting. This role uses Yardi/OneSite to maintain accurate records and ensure lease compliance while supporting leasing and resident relations on site.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management or related fields, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business-related field.
• 1–3 years minimum in residence life or property management or related role.
• Understanding of lease terms and enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent and payments, posts to ledger, prepares deposits and reports.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) accurately.
• Reviews resident accounts for delinquencies and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and approves vendor invoices, codes expenses, and coordinates with owner.
• Manages evictions per notice requirements and represents the community in court as needed.
• Handles move-outs, deposits, and disposition per policy and legal requirements.
• Responds to resident questions and maintenance requests to promote satisfaction and retention.
