Job summary

Greystar is hiring for an Assistant Community Manager/Leasing Manager role in San Diego, CA. The position focuses on supporting the Community Manager with financial operations, rent collection, and reporting while assisting leasing activities and maintaining resident relations.

You will work with Yardi/OneSite, manage cash flow, and help ensure lease compliance and revenue optimization for a 262-unit community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field is preferred.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Collects rents, fees, and payments; posts transactions and prepares bank deposits.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite and updates records to ensure data integrity.
• Reviews resident files to identify unpaid balances and enforces lease terms.
• Processes vendor invoices and coordinates with accounting and owners.
• Assists in management of client/owner relationships and provides updates on property performance.
