Job summary

Canteen, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Service Technician for our Coffee Distributing Corp location in New Hyde Park, NY. You will install, maintain and repair coffee and water equipment to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires prior technical and mechanical experience, with a preference for 2 years fixing coffee equipment or small appliances. Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with on-site responsibilities and a focus on safety and high-quality

Qualifications

• Previous technical and mechanical experience preferred.
• Previous 2 years fixing coffee equipment or small appliances preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair coffee and water equipment to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers on proper equipment use, preventive maintenance, and addressing technical questions or concerns.
• Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records by documenting completed work, equipment issues, and customer interactions while working independently with minimal supervision.
