Job summary

Compass Group USA's Canteen unit is hiring a full-time Service Technician in Middlesex, NJ to install, service, and repair coffee and water equipment at client locations. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with an expected focus on preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting.

You will diagnose malfunctions, advise customers on best configurations, maintain records, and ensure safety and quality standards. The role offers benefits and internal referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Previous technical and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair coffee and water equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance practices and equipment configurations to maximize performance.
• Ensure all equipment repairs and maintenance meet established quality and operational standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions and providing guidance on proper equipment operation and usage.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service activities, repairs, and customer interactions.
• Address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations, company policies, and established procedures.
