Job summary

La Colombe Coffee Roasters is seeking a Coffee Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain coffee equipment in the New York City Metro area. You will work closely with clients, coordinate with the home office, and ensure readiness of equipment upon delivery.

The role requires being mechanically inclined with strong communication, multitasking, and time-management skills. A background with industrial appliances or coffee machines is a plus, and Microsoft Office proficiency is important.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing, and maintaining large industrial appliances.
• Proficiency with coffee equipment is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary, face-to-face representative of La Colombe while engaging with clients
• Act as the liaison between the corporate office, client services, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and support
• Maintain accurate records in SalesLogix and MAS systems related to machine support
• Execute work orders, manage machine agreements, and address service tickets promptly
• Conduct bench testing of new equipment upon delivery, ensuring readiness before installation
• Refurbish used coffee equipment to extend its lifespan and prepare it for reinstallation
• Oversee the removal and replacement of equipment as needed
• Coordinate parts ordering and logistics with the home office to ensure timely and efficient operations
• Maintain a well-stocked van with inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment for installations
• Perform additional duties as assigned
