Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead the store's clinical team and partner with the Brand Manager. You will supervise staff, ensure quality patient experiences, and act as Manager on Duty to meet store goals. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, training, and clinical standards.

You will mentor Doctor Technicians, drive sales while maintaining exceptional care, and uphold operational processes across the clinical workflow in an on-site store environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate's degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or enrollment in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they enter the store and identify needs, explaining products and services available.
• Drive sales to exceed personal and store revenue goals while delivering outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues and improve satisfaction through troubleshooting and staff training.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Doctor's Technicians on diagnostic pre-testing and clinical workflows.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, protocols and clinical standards are followed per HIPAA standards.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Coach Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on contact lens insertion/removal.
• Oversee protocols for patient contact lens orders and diagnostic lens inventory weekly.
