Job summary

Hope The Mission is seeking a Part-Time Client Services Monitor in Northridge, CA to maintain safety and support daily operations for our housing programs. This on-site role requires compassion, reliability, and strong communication to assist participants and staff throughout shifts.

The position focuses on wellness checks, safety monitoring, hygiene and facility upkeep, and cooperation with program staff to meet contract requirements while upholding the organization's mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in homeless services or shelter operations preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of facility areas.
• Disinfect restrooms and common areas after each use.
• Monitor hygiene areas and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Conduct wellness checks and monitor participant safety.
• Assist with participant intake and orientation.
• Distribute hygiene supplies and support meal service.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) accurately.
• Support emergency responses and trauma-informed de-escalation.
• Transports participants as directed and manages vehicle upkeep.
