Job summary

Hope the Mission in Pacoima, CA, is seeking a Part-Time Client Services Monitor. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, structured environment for participants and supporting daily operations of interim housing programs.

Responsibilities include on-site safety, sanitation, participant services, and documentation. The CSM works with program staff to ensure program integrity and client well-being during shifts that may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in homeless services, shelter operations or social service preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance and Sanitation: assist with cleaning, disinfect restrooms, and maintain hygiene areas.
• Participant Safety & Monitoring: conduct wellness checks and supervise site safety.
• Participant Services & Engagement: assist with intake, orientation, and resource connections.
• Documentation & Reporting: complete DARs and HMIS entries as applicable.
• Shift Operations: support shift handoffs and provide coverage as scheduled.
• Transportation (Site Specific): transport participants and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
