Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Central Intake Coordinator for our Home Health operations. This on-site role involves triaging incoming calls, entering referrals, and coordinating information between Central Intake, branches, and nurses.

The position supports patient families and referral sources while ensuring accurate data entry in the operating system. Work is Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with duty to travel between office locations in the region as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in office procedures.
• 1+ years of insurance/medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and triages calls to Central Intake Teams
• Transmits referral information to central intake staff and branches
• Obtains demographic and clinical information to compile referrals
• Enters referrals into the mainframe operating system
• Provides general information about agency services to patients and families
