Job summary

Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to drive catering sales, respond to inquiries, and negotiate contracts for events at the Deerfield Beach, FL property.

You will coordinate with clients and the food & beverage team, conduct site visits, and ensure flawless execution of meetings and social functions while maintaining strong relationships with corporate and social clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering sales and servicing hotel or resort catering events.
• Proven abilities in event planning, coordinating timelines, menus, room setups, and A/V requirements.
• Strong customer service and satisfaction focus with guest relations.
• Hospitality, catering, or event management background in hotel or resort settings.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage catering sales, prospect new business, respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and contracts.
• Conduct site visits with prospective clients and coordinate menus and setup with F&B team.
• Collaborate with clients to plan events and ensure seamless execution of meetings, conferences, and social functions.
• Maintain relationships with corporate and social clients and monitor event details for quality and guest satisfaction.
• Track performance, update sales reports, and contribute to sales strategies to grow catering portfolio.
