Job summary

Wyndham Fort Smith is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to solicit and promote catering business for the hotel, coordinating with F&B and events teams to deliver flawless, on-brand events.

You will prepare proposals, contracts and client communications, negotiate terms, and act as on-site liaison for group and standalone events.

The ideal candidate has solid hotel sales experience, superb communication, and the drive to maximize revenue through up-selling while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in hotel sales or catering.
• Ability to prepare proposals, contracts and client communications.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Solicitation, prospecting, and direct selling in local, corporate and social markets.
• Discuss event details with planners and coordinate with hotel departments via BEOs.
• Prepare proposals, contracts and client-requested documents.
• Plan, organize and execute on-site events and site visits.
• Serve as on-site contact for group and standalone events.
• Communicate function arrangements to departments and clients to ensure accuracy.
• Seek repeat bookings and maximize revenue through up-selling.
