Job summary

Alpha School is hiring an Operations Coordinator to run the non-academic heartbeat of its campuses. This on-site role focuses on safety, facilities, logistics, and tech administration, with a strong emphasis on service and calm decision-making under pressure.

You will be the main point of contact for parents, students, and staff, coordinate safety drills, manage attendance and transportation, and support onboarding of new staff while keeping devices and campus tech in good order.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role.
• At least 6 months hands-on basic IT troubleshooting, device management, and account administration in a work, school, or volunteer setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, students, and vendors professionally.
• Demonstrated comfort building warm, trusted relationships with children and families in a visible on-campus role.
• Ability to independently own campus operations and make sound decisions across safety, facilities, logistics, communication, and basic technology in a lean environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to contact for parents, students, and staff with clear communication.
• Manage campus safety operations including access control, health incidents, drills, documentation, and parent communication.
• Oversee daily campus operations: attendance, facilities, transportation, and office logistics.
• Support onboarding and training for new staff to ensure smooth integration into campus operations.
• Manage student devices and act as on-site tech liaison and Google Administrator.
