Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operation, inspection and light maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. This on-site role requires 40 hours per week with weekend availability.

You will assist the engineering team with repairs, perform general maintenance, complete CMMS work orders, and keep tools and spaces safe and organized while collaborating with Operating Engineers and Chief Engineers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related maintenance experience in repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school or union training desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable using ladders up to 30 ft.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting.
• Complete work orders in CMMS and document service activities.
• Maintain tools, parts and supplies in clean, safe condition; support on-call or emergency responses.
• Work under guidance of Operating Engineers and Chief Engineers.
