Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is hiring an Operating/Building Engineer in an on-site capacity across Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe, AZ. You will manage, maintain, and repair critical building systems 24/7 to ensure peak performance and reliability.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong diagnostic skills, familiarity with Corrigo CMMS, and BAS knowledge. Expect physical work and exposure to varied conditions; EPA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Ability to analyze operation of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems and take corrective action.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Corrigo).
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions and physically access equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, repair, and monitor mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire and life-safety systems to standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and related equipment.
• Record readings and adjust parameters to ensure proper operation.
• Oversee external contractor maintenance for quality and cost control.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate facility services and purchases.
• Troubleshoot lighting, plumbing fixtures, and drainage systems as needed.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
