Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating/Building Engineer to keep Chandler-area facilities performing at peak levels. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems across building operations.

Responsibilities include preventative HVAC maintenance, monitoring readings, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials. This role requires 5+ years of experience and ability to work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Experience analyzing operation of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Corrigo).
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Record readings and adjust system parameters to prevent issues.
• Oversee external contractors for maintenance quality and cost control.
• Manage facility services, purchasing, inventory, and maintenance coordination.
• Check tool and instrument inventory and ensure readiness.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting, plumbing fixtures, and drainage systems.
• Ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
