Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is hiring an on-site Building Engineer in St. Louis, MO. You will operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and compliance with standards.

The role involves preventive maintenance, inventory control, and coordinating with contractors to optimize cost efficiency. You’ll analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support safety and 24/7 operations in a mission-critical facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Ability to analyze operation of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Corrigo).
• HVAC and BAS familiarity and related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair building systems to meet standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and related equipment.
• Monitor contractor work for quality and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot lighting, plumbing fixtures and safety systems as needed.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials handling.
