Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Building Engineer to support operation, maintenance, and functionality of building systems at the Madison, PA property. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and work with facility management and vendors to ensure safe, efficient building performance.

The role requires 2+ years in building maintenance, knowledge of HVAC and related systems, and strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance or related field.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read manuals, construction drawings, diagrams and work orders.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs on building systems.
• Complete inspection checklists and communicate issues to the Facility Manager.
• Respond to tenant service requests with professional, customer-focused support.
• Maintain appearance and operational standards of the property per JLL expectations.
• Assist with interior maintenance, lighting, and furniture repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors and review service specifications and scopes of work.
• Maintain safe work practices and keep areas clean and hazard-free.
