Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years related experience or equivalent trade training.
• Minimum of 3 years building maintenance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of building systems operations, maintenance and repair.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade (e.g., Journeyman/Master Electrician, Refrigeration license).
• Knowledgeable in energy management systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design and client specifications.
• Take lead to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, and HVAC.
• Direct mechanics, technicians, and outside contractors on assigned projects.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and coordinate additional support as needed.
• Maintain an energy management program to minimize operating costs.
• Maintain building lighting system and perform repairs as needed.
• Complete maintenance and repair records.
