Job summary

Covius is seeking a Billing Specialist to ensure accurate and timely client billing and payments. The role involves resolving disputes and questions, supporting multiple divisions, and collaborating with internal and external clients to keep accounts balanced.

The position emphasizes strong accounting knowledge, clear communication, and proficient use of MS Office. On-site work with the standard office environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of accounting practices required.
• Billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of customer invoices and all associated documents.
• Ensure the accuracy and timely processing of customer payments.
• Communicate potential billing errors to appropriate resources for further investigation; and follow-up to ensure any issue is resolved in a timely manner.
• Reconcile client accounts, identifying and working through any discrepancies identified.
• Proactively communicate and work with internal and external clients for all matters related to account balances, payment issues and customer disputes.
• Work with both the Development team and senior members of the Billing Operations team to define requirements and perform testing of automation initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
