Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot advanced battery energy storage systems across diverse industries. You will serve as the onsite technical authority, ensuring peak performance, safety, and reliability while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and software issues, coordinating with contractors, and documenting maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of field service experience, preferably with battery systems or power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues for battery systems on-site and remotely as needed.
• Manage third-party contractors and provide on-site technical support and training on system operation and safety.
• Document service activities and technical reports accurately and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions.
