Job summary

Fluence Energy, a global leader in energy storage and software, seeks a Quality Engineer to direct investigation and resolution of issues across design, installation, commissioning, and service. The role requires technical expertise and critical thinking to ensure product readiness and compliance.

You will collaborate with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to drive corrective actions, maintain quality records, and support testing and validation for energy storage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 1-3+ years in quality, engineering, or operations roles within manufacturing or energy sectors.
• Experience managing quality non-conformities and cross-regional alignment.
• Experience with product readiness and lifecycle improvement processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to lead through influence across functions and cultures.
• Experience with supplier quality management and change control.
• Familiarity with QA for product and design changes.

Responsibilities

• Incoming and In Process Support: support in managing programs and reporting systems globally; lead global engagement to enable shared processes development and usage.
• Issues Resolution Leadership: drive issues to resolutions through collaboration; develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Documentation and Quality Record Maintenance: maintain quality records such as inspection reports and non-conformance logs; ensure regulatory alignment.
• Testing and Validation Support: assist in quality testing for battery energy storage containers including functional checks and system-level commissioning.
• Issues Triage: act as front line for quality intake; reduce backlog using lessons learned; prioritize tickets.
• Product Readiness: drive product development decisions using quality intelligence; collaborate with Product Development and Engineering.
